About me
I am Deborah McKelvey, a Certified Practitioner in Animal Wellness working with Australian Bush Flower Essences. Through my work and continued learning I have gained a wide understanding of the Bush Flower essences and how they can support both humans and animals. My true devotion lies in helping animals, and it is my passion and honour to be of service to your beloved animals.
My philosophy
‘Do No Harm’ is the simple yet profound term that I base my work and services around.
Just like humans, animals experience a wide range of emotions. They also feel physical pain and pleasure like us, but they express it differently and sometimes it can be challenging for us to understand them.
In my work with Australian Bush Flower Essences I have seen the most profound, almost immediate results in animals, who don’t unconsciously carry a lot of excess baggage around like we do. They are clearer and more receptive to these powerful essences.
On a personal level, Australian Bush Flower Essences reflect my own values. I choose them for my work precisely because they do no harm, and because they can help animals and their humans to get to the root of an issue, bringing about healing on a deep emotional and physical level.

My services
Consultation
At an initial 1 hour in-depth consultation I will get a sense of the issues your animal is experiencing.
Treatment
A tailored Bush Flower essence blend will be created for you to treat your animal at home via a simple dropper jar, lasting around 4 weeks.
Follow-up
At further consultations we’ll discuss how your animal’s issue is progressing and if any further treatments are needed.

At our initial consultation I will get a sense of what issues your animal is experiencing.
If there are a number of issues, I will establish what the priority is for you and your animal as a starting point.
An essence blend will then be tailor-made in a 30ml bottle (4 week dosage) and delivered to you. Please allow around 7 days for your essence to be prepared.
After two weeks I will contact you by phone for a follow up consultation to see how your animal is going.
Two weeks after this there will be a final follow up consultation, in which I will establish where your animal is at and whether more of the same essences need to be given. If your animal is experiencing multiple issues we can also book in a consultation at this stage.

This includes:
1 hour initial consultation (online or in person, see below*)
30ml individually tailored Bush Flower Essence in dropper bottle (4 week dosage)
2 x follow up telephone consultations

*1 hour consultations are online; clients within the Ballarat area can receive an in-person consultation

Yes. Australian Bush Flower Essences are 100% safe for all animals to take.
Bush Flower Essences will not interfere if your animal is already on long or short term prescribed medication.

No. Whilst Bush Flower Essenes can greatly assist in healing your animal on an emotional and physical level, veterinary consultation is still advised where it is needed.

7 drops morning and evening. Depending on the tolerance of your animal, Bush Flower Essences can be given orally or in their water. Alternatively anywhere they can absorb the essences like onto their bare skin, belly, inside of their ear flap or onto their paws. They can also be placed topically along the spine simply by parting the fur and starting at the base of their heads, working your way down and ending at the tailbone.

Yes. While my particular passion is for helping animals, I can also create essences for humans to help them with a wide range of issues.
Essences can be particularly helpful following the loss of a beloved pet. Please contact me if you would like to explore this.
